Commerce is the branch of education, deals with the study of trade, operations of the business industry and exchange of goods and services from producer to the final consumer. As it is the most common and in-demand choice in India, 60% of students make up their mind for the Commerce stream after 12th standard which covers the topics of Economics, Accountancy, Business Studies, Human Resource Management and so on.

Commerce Stream offers a wide scope of career possibility for a student that would bring both favourable results as well as economic security with the required knowledge and skill. No single best course to define for yourself, because there are plenty of academic courses under commerce stream from where you can choose and prove the best for yourself.

UNDERGRADUATES

Undergraduate courses under commerce stream is a 3 - 4 years degree generally offered. Here are some of the courses listed below.

Bachelor of Commerce - B.Com is a 3-year (6 Semesters)  UG program which provides basic knowledge about leadership skills and understandings streams like finance, accounting, taxation and management. The course is designed to provide students with a wide range of awareness of how the financial world works and to give exposure to various fields of commerce.

Bachelor of Commerce  (Professional) - B.Com Professional is an Undergraduate Program of 3-year which defines about focuses on advancement efficiency in accountancy, taxation and finance which manage to pursue qualifications like  CA, ACCA etc

B.Com (Finance & Accountancy)- B.Com (Finance & Accountancy) is a full-time 3 years undergraduate course and as it is one of the most recognised professions overall. Describes the process of keeping financial accounts of an organisation, Income Tax, Methods and Techniques of Cost Accounting, Entrepreneurship Development Program accordingly. 

B.Com (Honours) - Being a specialization course, aims to build students incompetent business awareness through advanced study of general subjects such as Organizational Behavior and Cost Accountancy. It is a 3-year undergraduate course with a range of Banking Sector, auditors in different fields like Banking and Finance industry, accounting and corporate sector and so forth.

B.Com (Travel Tourism) - If you are fond of travelling and organizing the trips then this is the best course to a person striving for a career in travel, interact with people and reaching out into the world. It is a 3-year UG program which equips students with the knowledge to inhabit key operational positions in the Travel and Tourism Industry.

B.Com (C.A) - Bachelor of Commerce in Chartered Accountant is a 3-year UG course designed to learn the commerce-related subjects like accounting, economics, marketing, etc. There is a vast range of possibilities for the Chartered accountancy professionals within private as well as public establishments. 

POST GRADUATES 

Master of Commerce (M.Com) - Master of Commerce is a 2-year post-graduate course, can pursue after the completion of a Bachelor's degree in commerce, and one of the major academic courses out of 3. This program provides you knowledge of finance and accounting to develop leadership and analytical skills to come upon overall challenges by the sense of confidence, capability and Skill improvement.
